Why is Fiona red?

I was typing in the emoji for today, and i noticed the green apple emoji near the red one. but i've based fiona's character almost entirely on red apples. aside from my weekly boba tea order (green apple fruit tea and tapoica pearls from tea time, if anyone cares) , i've practically ignored that green apples exist... so why not turn it into character backstory for Fiona?

when you think of the colors red and green individually, red generally means anger and "stop!" and fire and stuff. green kinda makes me think of plants and growth but also that sassy character from inside out. but when you think of apples, red ones are probably what come to mind, right? well, originally, when fiona got her theme, she thought of green apples. she got a package of green stuff, actually, because she "marketed" herself as a sweet green apple girl. but something didn't really feel right - she was too sweet to be a bitter green apple. so she undewent the ✨biggest identity crisis and change ever✨ and became Fiona the Red Apple Girl~
