Some people work hard to be the best in their field. I'm not one of those people. Some people only wear one color, or eat one food, or do one thing. I'm not one of those people. Some people use magic, some people are talented, some people are ordinary, some people are clumsy, and I'm not any of those people.

My name is Maia, and my "Talent" is book binding. Yes, you read that correctly, bookbinding. Not much of a talent. Some people have cool talents, at lease. Then, you get people like me, with talents so useless they shouldn't even classify as one. Everything is separated, townies and capers, magical and ordinary, useful and useless, and for what?

I don't want to be limited to my theme and talent all my life while capers can do basically whatever they want. Plus, my theme is boring. Maia Maple, that's my full name. Seriously?

There's a group of people, both townies and capers, who want to subvert this system. Make the world equal. Abandon magic completely.

So I'm a REBEL. This is my story.
