anyways, September was a really good month. i'm pretty proud of the stuff I've made. now, here's my favorite part: the obstacle course!!!

Cassie stands and looks up at the platforms, terrified. she breathes in, out, in, out, in and out. then she gets to work. she swirls her hands and a small water disc appears at waist level, spinning like a vortex. she steps on it, eyes glued to her hands. she makes another, and another, slowly and carefully making her way up. when she reaches the top, she looks surprised, as if she didn't think she could do it. she forces herself not to look down, she looks up at the hook. a new fire of determination has found it's way to fit comfortably on her face. she twists her hands, and a strand of seaweed spans between her hands. she snaps both her hands and catches the seaweed rope. she throws one end and it wraps itself around. Cassie closes her eyes tightly, and with a shriek swings across the gap, hands sweating on the slimy rope. she lands with a thud on the moving platform. she looks startled and the platform moves up and down, but regains composure. she makes another water disc, a small water-bar and basically skate-discs down the bar. she hops off with a flourish. you can tell she's catching her stride. she looks up, then presses her hand down into the ground with a smack. a large branching coral shoots up, all the way to the top platform. she gets to work climbing up the branching coral. after a couple minutes, she reached the top and held the trophy triumphantly up in the air. then, she looked down. she screamed, and tripped. then she was falling. in a moment of panic, she shot her hands down in front of her and created a giant waterbed, which she landed in with a splash. soaked, she looked up and smiled.
