June 19, 2021 - Perler Beads

 Perler beads are one of my many, many, MANY obsessions. I made a coaster from a pattern I found on joann.com, and the other rainbow one followed the same pattern with different colors:
















The second one is rainbow, if you can't tell. Cute, right? I like 'em. There are tons of really intricate and beautiful perler bead things, but I nearly ran out of patience making these. If you want to do this, get the colors individually. it's more expensive, but trust me -- the hours i've spent looking through those tiny little beads looking for a single white bead is ridiculous. do yourself a favor and buy them individually.
