Naples Yellow (Hex code: FFDF63) Thumbnail

This color is called Naples Yellow. It looks very summer-y. The complementary color is called Blueberry.

Good contrast. Since this color is called Naples Yellow, I think I'll write a bit about Naples (in Italy, not florida) .

That's the Gulf of Naples. There in the distance is Mount Vesuvius. Volcanoes are really cool too. In August of 2020, I made a character named Traci Lava. She was really cool. In the picture above, the Pine of Naples is to the right. The Pine of Naples is a big tree often featured in postcards until the 1980's. 

Random fact about the Gulf of Naples: the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics sailing event took place on those waters!

Also, according to Mario Scaramella, a lawyer and academic nuclear expert, twenty nuclear torpedo sea mines were claimed by the International Atomic Energy Agency to have been laid there in 1970 by a Soviet November class attack submarine at the time of the Cold War to deny access to the US Sixth Fleet. The mines are believed to still be on the seabed!
