I remember mentioning that Lela's greatest fear is CHALK . Why? That's exactly what I'm about to explain: Lela is normally pretty tough. It takes a lot to rattle her. And she has never forgotten a dance. She executes all the moves flawlessly, remembers everything, and she's one of the best ballet dancers in the Town. She has forgotten her dance once, though. The was 9, and in the Sunny Smiles Dance Company Winter Performance. They were doing a special version Waltz of the Snowflakes scene from the Nutcracker, and Lela had been cast as a new addition to the scene, the Snow Queen. All the snowflakes fawned over her as they all danced around the stage. She was thrilled. Then came the night of the performance. She came out just a bit late, and didn't do her best performance.
