April 16, 2021 - Recipe #2


Dark Sea Vision

Materials:

  • 3 tablespoons of dry sand

  • 5 fireflies

  • ½ cup of saltwater

  • 2 teaspoons of liquid aluminum (literally melted tin foil will work)

  • 1 pufferfish spike


Process:

  1. Pour saltwater and sand into an obsidian cauldron. Stir vigorously for 20 seconds.

  2. Slowly pour liquid aluminum into the cauldron. Wait 45 seconds. Stir 25 strokes.

  3. Place the fireflies in the center of the caldron. Wait 15 seconds in between placing. Stir carefully for 10 seconds.

  4. Turn to face north. Slowly lower the pufferfish spike into the caldron at the far end of the cauldron, directly in front of where you are standing. The color should immediately change from light brown to black. 

  5. Submerge goggles into potion. Leave submerged for 24 hours. Remove and let dry for 24 hours. (Only good for one pair of goggles)
