March 31, 2021 - Goodbye from Jaki

Final Entry --

Vicki and I are meeting up more often now. It's kinda nice. I mean, I don't fully trust her yet, but it's nice to be with her after all these years. My life is finally back to normal (ish) and if I'm being honest, I've missed Vicki. I've got a lot to do. Later!

Obstacle Course!!!

This intro to the course is from the Jan 31 post.

There's the starting platform on the bottom. You have to make a sort of stair-like thing (If anyone has ever seen Frozen 2 it's like in "Show Yourself", Elsa makes these towers/steps before she pushes the huge, fallen columns.) to get up to a high platform. To get to the next one, there is a hook and you have to make something you can use to swing yourself from one platform to the other. The one that you are trying to land on is moving up and down, so you have to time it exactly right. Then, you have to make a sort of slide to get down to the ground again. Then, for the hardest part of all: you have to go straight up to get to the trophy, then get down any way you'd like except going the way you came. They all do this using their powers, of course. 

For the start, Jaki swirls her hands and a large rose appeared. She grabbed a handful of petals and did that thing where she pushed them out like money. They floated to a stop to make large steps, and she gracefully leapt from petal to petal to the top petal. She clenched her hands into a fist then quickly opened it up. She pointed to the hook and a stem shot out. She swung across on the stem and landed with a flip onto the moving platform. Then, she clapped her hands once. A large petal appeared in between her hands. She grabbed each end of the petal and backed up. Then, she sprinted to the end of the platform and jumped off! She floated down to the bottom platform and looked up at the platform above her. (Also, I am pretty sure that's not how science works with the whole petal parachute thing, but it's a story. Roll with it. ) She looked up, the platform above looking extremely daunting. She pointed up and shot towards the platform, rose petals spiraling from her feet. She landed on the high platform with a thud, and applause echoed throughout the area as she held the trophy high above her head. She looked down, and spread her arms out to the side, and fell forward, cape flying up. Everyone gasped. However, the second she touched the ground, she disappeared! All that was left in her place were a pile of rose petals.
