March 3, 2021 - Jaki Rose Intro


Hello! I am so excited to introduce... (insert drumroll here)

Jaki Rose, my new character of the month!

She has a very interesting life, and I began to write a story about her. Here is the introduction.


I’m Jaki, and I am a secret superhero. Well, not really. 

Around the Town, I’m known as Ms. Lincoln, in reference to the rose called Mister Lincoln. Few know that my name is actually Jaki, and even fewer have seen my face. 

I save not-thriving gardens and plants all over the world. Most people in the Capetol aren’t very good at gardening and botany, so I help them. People know I’ve helped them because I leave a letter with instructions and a small metal rose. In this journal, I will document all the people I help. 


I will share more and more information about her life as the entries grow. I don’t have a headshot or profile for her because I wanted to keep what she looks like as a secret. However, please don’t take that as the idea that I don’t know what she should look like. I do. (The main problem is that the software that I use to make the headshots and the profiles don’t have the hairstyle I want for her) 


Anyway, I also wanted to tell you about my new American Girl Doll of the month, (I know, that doesn’t roll off the tongue the same way. Hmph.) Maryellen Larkin. She has tons of stuff about her, including videos on the American Girl Youtube channel (this is not a plug, just stating facts here) .


Also, one more thing -- I was thinking about things related to roses, and the first thing I came up with was Beauty and the Beast. (My friend loves any movie with Emma Watson and she went ballistic when she found out I’d never seen Beauty and the Beast. We watched it at 8:30 in the morning. Somehow, my mom was ok with it. ) I might be sneaking in a bit of Belle here and there for this month.
