NOTICE: THIS IS NOT UPDATED. I MIGHT ACCIDENTALLY CHANGE SOME OF THIS THOUGHOUT WRITING THIS STORY. NOT ALL DETAILS ARE IN HERE - A LOT AREN'T. THIS WORLD IS EVER-CHANGING, BUT I HOPE THAT SOME OF YOU WILL COME TO LOVE IT AS I DO :)

It's finally 2021!

Hopefully the new year will bring good things.

About Me: I have been doing my TOTM (Themes of the Month) for a loong time. The earliest I can remember doing it was early summer of 2018. I didn't document them back then, but I still did it. Some things I do to document and entertain them are make art and craft projects based on it, draw about it, research it (My favorite!),  dress in ways that tribute it, and code websites for my characters.

Wonderland of My Creation take place on a planet that is yet to be named. It may seem complicated at first, but refer back to these notes and it will begin to make sense. These notes are going to be pretty long. You don't have to real all of them. I will create a new character every month, and continue to write about their story throughout the month. I might post once a week, or twice in a row. I don't have a clear-cut schedule, but I am very excited! Anyway, without further ado, I present:

THE WONDERLAND OF MY CREATION

NOTE: Most often, unless stated otherwise, "people" is referring to people who live in The Town.

Main Information:

• This story takes place on an big island surrounded by tons of little islands. The parts of the main island are:
• The Town. 
• BASE: This is where the majority of these stories will be set. It's inhabitants are 100% female and magical. Humans don't reproduce, and siblings are rare. Instead, they are created from a bottle of smoke. More into that and The Town's inhabitants later.
• The Capetol. 
• BASE: No, that's not a typo. It's spelled C A P E T O L. Regular humans live here, siblings and all. No magic, just normal, boring humans called Unnamed. (I say boring because they are compared to the Townies, the people who live in the town.)
• Beyond. 
• BASE: Beyond is simply a huge forest. It is home to fairies, nymphs, elves, and the occasional cluster of enchanted mushrooms. While venturing out into Beyond is not forbidden, there are rumors of the dangers that lie in it's depths and exploration is rare.

• Characters in The Town are the main characters in my stories. Here is some base info about my previous characters and how characters work.
• How characters work: They all have Themes and Talents and, of course, Names. Their Theme is in place of their last name. Their Talent is often, but not always, related to their Theme. Their Name is exactly that; their name. ex. In my August TOTM, My character was Araya Cherry. Her Theme is cherries, her Talent is gardening and her Name is Araya. Pretty straight forward, right? Well, now I'm gonna make it more complicated.
• How characters are born: Before I get into that, I have to introduce the Guardians. There are 5 of them, and they are sort of like angels. They don't have any specified names. They can take human form, but do so rarely. Characters are born from smoke in bottles, a mixture the smoke, a mixture of clouds, a Guardian's breath, and an eyelash from a person with the Theme and/or Talent of the soon-to-be person. This smoke is kept in the bottle for around 10 months, then delivered down to the ground and released in a birth ceremony. When people are "born", they are around the age of 2. Nobody is ever a true baby. People in The Capetol are, but people in The Town aren't. Also, siblings are very rare. Like, 1 in 1,000,000 kind of rare. Just so you know.
• Age: From the age of 2 to 10, people are normal kids taken care by Caretakers, who are 40+ years old. They have Themes, and they practice their Talent. Practicing for so long is how they become so good at their Talent. When kids turn 10, they go to Camp or have a Teacher who is also 40+ to teach them how to use their powers and what to do with their lives for 6 months, from January to July. From the ages 10 to 39, people live their lives. They don't have parents. They live on their own, in their own house. They make their own money and cook their own food and don't pay their own bills because things like water and electricity are free! After people turn 40, They can choose from 3 options:
• Become a Teacher
• Teach kids to use their powers and what to do with their lives
• Become a Caretaker
• Take care of kids from the ages of 2 to 10 - Once assigned a child, the Caretaker will be responsible for that child until they turn 10.
• Live in The Capetol
• Lose their magic powers, enhanced ability to preform their Talent, and their Theme, get a last name and therefore become an Unnamed, live in The Capetol.

One quick thing: The celebration of New Year's is very important in the world-that-is-yet-to-be-named. Here is the quick summary of how it works:

Every year, the Guardians choose one person or a group of people who did something extraordinary that year. For example, in 2020, the special group was a group of scientists who figured out how to engineer a synthetic atmosphere that they can spray over the planet and use the planet's gravity to hold it in (I don't think this is actually possible. But it's my imagination, so who cares?). The New Year part takes place in the main square of The Capetol, and it is the only time that all of the townies and the normal people from The Capetol get together, and here's a huge party with the theme of the group of people who did the extraordinary thing.
